How to Enable STUN on a Yealink SIP-T46S

We use STUN to overcome NAT issues that can occur in some network environments, particularly sites with many phones.

When enabling STUN on devices in a network, it is important to ensure your Network Gateway / Router has the SIP ALG setting disabled. Please search our Knowledge base, or contact your Router manufacturer for instructions specific to your particular router model.

Enabling STUN on a Yealink SIP-T46S

  1. Find the Handset's Local IPv4 Address by pressing the "OK" key on the phone while on the home screen (lift and replace the handset to return to the home screen)

  2. Open the aforementioned IP Address in a web browser, on a computer connected to the same network as the phone. The address should look like;

    • http://192.168.x.x/
    • http://10.x.x.x/
  3. Login to the phone using the default username and password of 'admin'
